Waitin' aint Hip

Only three more OTAs remain for the Dolphins and one of the most prized off-season acquisitions is still on the sideline... on a bike. The playmaker the Dolphin fans have craved for years is now so close but they have yet to see a glimpse. Just a taste would have satisfied the salivating masses but after a surprise hip surgery, Brandon Marshall has yet to see action. Yes it's only OTAs, but the anticipation is palpable in Miami. Acquired the week prior to the draft the All-Pro receiver formally of the Denver Broncos has just the combination of size and speed with the hands to boot that this Parcells regime covets. He also has just the type of swagger and personality Miami fans will embrace. Miami fans are proud, loyal and braggadocios. Miami fans love to win and don't mind it if a player carries those same attributes as long as he backs it up. So can we expect another 100 catch season? If Chad Henne can be anywhere as good as...um...um, oh yeah, Kyle Orton, then why not.

RB Breakdown - How The Fins Will Carry The Ball This Year

Ricky and Ronnie are the most well known, but the Dolphins also have Patrick Cobb, Lousaka Polite,Lex Hillard, Kory Sheets, and Tristan Davis. Ronnie Brown is coming off an injury last year and Ricky Williams could potentially play his last year in the NFL after this season. Lousaka Polite had the third most carries last season, but didn't play a gigantic role in 2009. Polite's numbers were 37 attempts for 123 yards or 3.32 yards per carry. This year we may see Polite get a little more action as the Dolphins will be trying new running schemes. We are looking for Ricky and Ronnie to be stellar and we don't think that's too much to ask.

Sparano Is Ready To Get Down To Business

Tony Sparano seems eager to show the world how good Chad Henne our quarterback is going to be this upcoming season. Sparano has been quoted a few times talking about how well he thinks Chad Henne is developing. Tony Sparano has brought a lot of life into the Miami Dolphins organization over the past few years along with Bill Parcels in the management office. Sparano seems very enthusiastic about the upcoming season and what the team has in store for its fans. Dolphans are looking forward to the addition of Brandon Marshall and what he will bring to the receiving core.

More to come...
